The focus of TESTS is aimed at increasing the ability of teacher training institutions, the Commission on Higher Education to create flexible programs that address teacher needs.
It is designed to strengthen institutional capacity to train teachers to deliver quality instruction; build critical skills for quality teaching; and improve the enabling environment for student teachers, as well as new teachers in their first year of teaching.

DEEP provides professional and technical services such as school community engagement, on-time enrollment, nurturing care, monitoring, coaching and professional development for teachers and principals.
