This component is focused on in-service teacher training for an estimated 31,090 ECE, primary and junior high school teachers who are not qualified but are teaching in Liberian classrooms. 

Several international development partners including World Bank Group (WB) through Global Partner for Education (GPE), Legislative Causes and the Ministry of Liberia have supported the teacher training project. DEEP also conducts self-help clusters of teacher training. 

Since 2015, an estimated 1300 teachers have graduated from DEEP’s Teacher Training projects.
